2011 Winners

In 2011 we toured New Zealand and ran filmmaking workshops in almost every region. More than 150 young filmmakers took part – some went on to make their films & enter the very first Inspiring Stories Film Competition.

2011 Awards Ceremony

The winners of the very first Inspiring Stories Film Competition were announced at the Awards Night, Saturday 5th November at Festival for the Future in Wellington at the NZ Film Archive. There were entries from 10 different regions around New Zealand.

Huge congrats to everyone involved, and especially 16-year old Johanna Hertwich from rural Murchison who took home the major prize – press release available here.
